The story
As a self-professed bikini aficionado, founder Carli knew exactly what she was missing: swimwear that could keep up with her — not fall apart on her.
She was tired of cheap fabrics, uncomfortable fits, and "sustainable" marketing that didn’t hold up after a season.
We set out to build that world — for her, and for every woman who refuses to choose between style, comfort, and sustainability.

In a space where most competitor brands lean into bold edginess or hyper-feminine luxury, Mikkel carves out its own lane with an elevated, grounded brand that feels like home for adventure-obsessed women who refuse to compromise.
Every design decision was made to reflect the soul of Mikkel’s ideal customer:

Adventurous, but still rooted in simplicity and ease.
